YORK’ S Simon Dyson suffered an early exit from the D+ D Real Czech Masters.
Despite an improvement on his first round of two-over-par 74, he fell three shots shy of the cut to make a premature Czech-out.
Needing to post a healthy sub-par round yesterday, the world number 129 made the most promising start with a birdie on first at the Albatross Golf Resort.
But his touch on the greens deserted him and the next break after a run of pars was a bogey on the par-four eighth.
On the inward turn Dyson experienced yet more hard labour as birdies failed to materialise. He bogeyed the par-three 16th hole, where in his first round he notched a calamitous five.
Dyson ensured a level-par 72 when he wrapped up the par-four 18th with a three. But that was scant consolation as he stood on two-over at the halfway stage with further progress only guaranteed by finishing one-under or better.
