STUDENTS of Scalby School in Scarborough have been given free rucksacks for a charity trip to North Africa.
The 17 pupils, who will spend 14 days working on a sustainable community project in a Moroccan village this summer, were given the rucksacks by repair and maintenance business Willmott Dixon Partnerships.
The trip has been arranged as part of a school course which is geared to equip pupils with vital life skills such as leadership, teamwork, budgeting and planning.
