THIS year’s scenic Dalby Dash has been launched as its organisers presented thousands of pounds to charity.
Five hundred people took part in the run last November, which started at the visitor centre in Low Dalby and looped round through 10km of forest trails.
The event raised £2,000 which has been split between Help For Heroes and Pickering Rotarians, who pass it on to local charities.
The Dalby Dash, which will be held on Remembrance Sunday, November 11, is inviting people to join in the fun race this year.
Darran Bilton said: “It’s the most stunning scenery we have in this country and arguably the rest of the world. It’s something friendly for everyone.”
A 2km junior dash is also being held this year, details of which will be on the website in the next couple of weeks.
