THIS lucky black cat which was trapped in a hedge for two weeks is looking for a new home.
Mags, who is 18 months old, was discovered in a field near Easingwold with her front leg stuck in her elasticated collar, unable to move.
She was severely emaciated and had lost more than half her body weight.
She is now being looked after at the Blue Cross animal adoption centre in Thirsk.
Caroline Thompson, of the centre, said: “Mags has been through an horrific ordeal which could easily have been avoided if she had been wearing a collar that snapped open when she became trapped.”
