FIREFIGHTERS responded to a trailer fire last night.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (NYFRS) were called out to a commercial property in Swinton, near Malton, at 10pm.
“Two crews from Malton have been called to a fire involving a trailer full of scrap which was being towed at a commercial property," said a spokesperson.
“The trailer was unhitched from the vehicle which limited damage to the scrap and trailer only.
“Crews used two hose reel jets and three breathing apparatus. The cause is unknown.”
