TWELVE new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Ryedale.
The latest data from Public Health England shows the total number of cases reported in our area are:
Ryedale - 360 - up 12 (in the previous 24 hours)
Scarborough - 1,094 up 31
City of York - 3,016 up 142
North Yorkshire - 6,341 up 207
East Riding of Yorkshire - 3,588 up 145
Nationally, there have been 26,688 new cases, taking the total to 789,229. All of these figures include both pillar 1 and pillar 2 cases.
There has been one further death related to Covid-19 recorded at hospitals in the York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The data from NHS England shows that the total number of deaths related to the virus in the York trust now stands at 225. The trust includes York Hospital and Scarborough.
Nationally, a further 191 have died in the UK, taking the total to 44,158.
