A MAN had his bike stolen after thieves pushed him from behind as he returned to his car.

The victim had been visiting Forge Valley in Scarborough on September 13. After returning to his vehicle in the wooded area that evening, the suspects pushed him from behind before stealing his Capra AL mountain bike.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing to anyone who may have been offered a Capra AL mountain bike for sale, or has any other information that could assist their investigation.

Meanwhile, police are appealing for help to find the owner of a suspected stolen mountain bike found in Scarborough.

It was handed into the police by a member of the public who thinks it may have been stolen and dumped outside of their property. It has a black, green and white frame with "Earl Raster” printed on it.
