A DRIVER caught speeding twice within three hours on the A64 has been banned from driving for six months.
The driver was recorded doing 97mph and 100mph on the dual carriageway section of the road earlier this year.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police Traffic Bureau tweeted that the driver had been banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay £395 in fines and costs.
A second driver recorded at 66mph within a 40mph limit on the A64 at Sherburn has been given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £394 in fines and costs, officers added.
