FIREFIGHTERS were called to a chimney fire in Helmsley yesterday (Wednesday).
Helmsley and Malton fire crews received a call at 9.02pm to attend a domestic property.
They used a 9m ladder, roof ladder, ropes and working at height equipment to extinguish the fire.
The cause is believed to be an accumulation of soot.
