COUNCIL and health chiefs have teamed up to highlight the benefits of breastfeeding.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Humber NHS Teaching Foundation Trust are promoting World Breastfeeding Week, from August 1 to 7, to highlight the benefits and support mothers.
Families can attend the Big Latch On, which is happening globally in different locations, including North Yorkshire.
The event encourages everyone to offer peer support, guidance and breastfeeding advice.
The Big Latch On is being held virtually, due to the coronavirus outbreak, with a secure platform to make sure families are safe.
