FOR this month’s feature from Malton Camera Club, members have shared a mix of photographs capturing wildlife and landscapes. The seven pictures they have chosen have been among those up for discussion, and critique, during the club’s Zoom meetings in lockdown.

“Malton Camera Club has had to adapt to the current crisis,” said a spokesperson for the club.

“The emphasis has been on shooting locally, which we are fortunate to be able to do in this beautiful county of ours.

“We are conducting meetings via Zoom and have held our annual general meeting using this, as well as committee and club evenings.

“Every two weeks we do a critique on members’ submitted photos, where useful feedback is received from other members of the club.

“The photos submitted here are from one such of these. They largely reflect the local wildlife and landscapes around Yorkshire.

“Covid has meant members have had to seek new subjects, such as still lives, and revisit past holidays from their photo collection.

“It is interesting to reflect how we would have coped had this all happened before the advent of digital photography.”
