A RAFFLE organised by Station Taxis has raised £2,183 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA).

The fundraiser was initiated by taxi driver Paul Ramsden, however after he fell ill with coronavirus, colleagues Lisa Ridsdale and Yvonne Brannon stepped in to ensure the raffle went ahead.

Kevin Hutchinson, East Yorkshire community fundraiser for the YAA, said: “We would like to thank Station Taxis for their support and generosity and for raising more than £2,000 for the YAA from their recent raffle.

“The money raised will help greatly towards the vital funding of the YAA, particularly at this difficult time when a lot of our usual fundraising activities have been postponed. We would also like to take this opportunity to wish Paul a very speedy recovery from all at the YAA.”
