A SEAGULL had to be rescued by fire crews after it flew down a chimney.
Firefighters were called to the property in Prospect Road, Scarborough, at 9.46am yesterday (Monday).
The seagull had flown down a chimney and then got was stuck behind a gas fireplace.
A crew from Scarborough, along with an on-call watch manager, managed to release the gull unharmed.
