A MAN suffered facial injuries following an assault involving two men.

It happened in the outdoor area of The Valley Bar, in Scarborough, between 8.50pm and 9.05pm on Saturday.

One of the men suffered fractures to his face, cuts and swelling, and was taken to hospital.

Police are appealing for information about the identity of the other man involved.

He is described as being tall with a broad build, facial stubble and crown balding. He has a tattoo on his right hand. He was wearing a coat that had a hood, with patches on the upper arms and dark buttons fastening it, dark fitted jeans and white trainers.
