DARING fundraisers are encouraged to participate in a muddy obstacle challenge.

Get Caked, a five-mile obstacle course around Sledmere House, encourages runners to climb over, jump through and run across both natural and mad-made obstacles.

Raising money for Saint Catherine’s, a hospice providing support and care for adults with terminal cancer, everyone is welcome to participate over the age of 15, on Wednesday, April 15.

“As the name suggests, you will get muddy,” said Ben Redfern, the event fundraiser at Saint Catherine’s.

“This is a fantastic way to raise necessary funds for patient care, so be prepared for a fun and memorable day.”

Saint Catherine’s is working in partnership with Dove House Hospice, in Hull, which is organising the event.

The event at Sledmere House will provide refreshments, toilets and parking - alongside a spectators guide for family and friends.

All entrants will receive a free t-shirt, a medal and cake.

Registration costs £25 and a minimum sponsorship of £40.
