EMERGENCY services were called to Castle Gardens in Malton this morning following reports of a sudden death.
A cordon was put in place while police carried out their investigations.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called at 10.30am this morning (Thursday) to reports of a sudden death of a man in the Castle Garden area of Malton.
“Initial enquiries indicate that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.”
