TICKETS have gone on sale for a popular agricultural show, with visitors being encouraged to book early after last year’s event sold out.
Springtime Live, which takes place at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate next month, has a selection of activities from farm animals to live entertainment with Mr Bloom from CBeebies.
Doors open at 9am on Sunday, March 28, when families can get up close to rabbits, chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, and alpacas from Ian’s Mobile Farm, near Leeds. Ripon Farm Services has donated mini tractors, which children can ride around an indoor circuit and there will also be an outdoor bike track and a climbing wall.
Youngsters can also hold and learn about chicks thanks to Eggucation and there will be reptiles and bug encounters, as well as forest crafts.
Charles Mills, the show director, said: “This will be our seventh Springtime Live and it gets more and more popular every year. This is a real family event which showcases farming and rural life through hands on activities and entertainment.”
Due to the popularity of Springtime Live, entry is by advance ticket only. Tickets cost £10 for adults, £6 for children or a family ticket (two adults and three children) for £29.
“Make sure you book your tickets now to ensure entry and once inside, everything is free,” said Charles. “We look forward to seeing you.”
