MOUNTAIN rescue teams were called in to help find two walkers at the weekend.
Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team (SRMRT) received the alert at 4.31pm on Saturday to reports of two walkers who had become disorientated in failing light on a walk around the Falling Foss/Littlebeck/Maybeck area.
A spokesman for SRMRT said: "We quickly established their location using the PhoneFind utility from within the Mountain Rescue England and Wales SARcall application and deployed team members to meet with them and escort them back to their transport at the Falling Foss car park."
Six team members were deployed for one hour during the rescue.
