Light fitting damaged in fire at commercial premises in Scarborough
A LIGHT fitting has been damaged after a fire in a commercial property.
Fire crews from Scarborough were called out at 8.40pm last night after reports of an alarm sounding at a commercial premises in the town.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire Service said: "This was due to a fire in a light fitting causing 50 per cent fire damage and light smoke damage to the room of origin. Crews used thermal imaging camera, small tools and forcible entry tool."
