A MALTON bank has spent a year fundraising for Saint Catherine’s Hospice.
Raising more than £500 through cake sales and raffles, TSB Malton chose Saint Catherine’s Hospice as their Charity of the Year.
Participating in the Sunshine Walk at the end of September, the Malton branch had a successful year organising and participating in various fundraising events.
Malton TSB staff were joined in branch by customers to draw the Christmas raffle, alongside Christmas refreshments, such as mince pies and Bucks Fizz.
Nicky Grunwell, the fundraising coordinator for Saint Catherine’s, said: “A huge thank you to TSB Malton for the support they have given to Saint Catherine’s as Charity of the Year.
“The funds they have raised will go towards looking after patients and their families, both in the hospice and out in the community.”
