A YOUNG hockey player has been selected to play for North Yorkshire.
Chloe Robinson, a pupil at Malton School, who has been playing hockey since she was six, has been selected for the county’s under 12s team.
The 11-year-old, who lives in Malton with her parents Darren and Nikki and younger brother Alfie, also plays for the City of York Hockey Team, where she was selected for the North Yorkshire team.
Darren said: “Chloe first started playing hockey at primary school and loves everything about it.
“She also plays for her school team in older age groups.
“It is a great team sport and she has made lots of friends through it.
“Chloe lives and breathes hockey, we are all very proud of her.”
