A MAN suffered a cut to his face after he was assaulted in a bar.
It happened between 3.10am and 3.15am on Saturday, December 21, at a table near the front of Sanctuary Bar in St Nicholas Street, in Scarborough, which was previously known as the Blue Lounge.
A 19-year-old man was assaulted by another man and sustained a cut to his face.
There were a number of woman sat around the table where the assault happened and officers are appealing to them to come forward along with anyone else who witnessed the incident.
A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the investigation and release on bail while the investigation continues.
