CLAIMS that a knife was brought into Norton College last week have been found to be false.
Speculation was made on social media that a knife had been brought into school and a pupil threatened.
A spokesman for Norton College said: “We have looked into these claims and found that they are entirely false.
“Both we and the police can confirm no such incident has taken place.
“The safety and security of all our students is our number one priority and we take any allegations such as this extremely seriously, but we are clear that there was no knife.”
