AN OPTICIANS in Malton have teamed up with the charity Brake for road safety awareness week.
Specsavers has been handing out 100 high-vis jackets to residents.
Josie Matthews from Specsavers, said: “Safety for everyone, especially school children, is so important during the winter months. We have already handed out a selection of high-vis jackets to a local Brownie group, so hopefully people can help us support the road safety initiative.”
People are welcome to get their free high-vis jacket from the branch in Castlegate.
