FOR this week’s Way We Were, we’ve headed back to the 1980s and found these pictures of the Dickens Festival.
It first took place in 1986 and capitalised on the town’s links Charles Dickens.
The feature coincides with this year’s Malton Dickensian Festival, which started on Saturday.
