NORTON Road in Norton remains closed to traffic due to temporary flood pumps.
The Environment Agency (EA) brought in temporary pumps after the Mill Beck pumps failed due to a power outage.
A spokesman for the EA said: “We are monitoring the situation and keen to get the road cleared and the pumps out of the way asap, but are being cautious and waiting until the river falls further before moving everything.”
