A RYEDALE veterinary practice has given a generous donation to Harome sporting club.
Grace Lane Vets of Kirkbymoorside have presented members of the Harome Bowls Club with a scarifier for the bowling green.
A spokesman for Grace Lane Vets said: “We have welcomed the opportunity to support local groups by donating the scarifier to the Harome Bowls Club and sponsoring the under 12s football team.
“Our new facility offers exceptional support for Ryedale residents and their pets.
“We look forward to meeting more of the local community and thank everyone for their support.”
The Harome Bowls Club was established 40 years ago and benefits from donations of equipment for maintaining the club.
The club play in the Huby Triple League on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, alongside the Ryedale Veterans League on a Wednesday afternoon.
New members are always welcome and there is no age limit.
