Police are asking the public to report any sightings of a silver Nissan XTrail in relation to two instances of deer poaching
NORTH Yorkshire Police are appealing for sightings of a silver Nissan XTrail in relation to two instances of deer poaching.
The vehicle, with the registration number registration NH05KYV, is fitted with a snorkel on the driver's side.
A police spokesman said: "We are keen to speak to the occupants in relation to two instances of deer poaching in the Cropton and Stape forest areas, near Pickering.
"Information suggests it is travelling into the county from the North East, so is likely to be sighted across the moors. Routine keeper enquiries have unfortunately drawn a blank.
"If the vehicle and its occupants are seen in the commission of a crime please dial 999."
