MALTON fire crews attended around 300 straw bales on fire in a field near Duggleby at 10.22pm on Friday.
Crews monitored the fire for a period of time and liaised with police, local farm and gamekeeper.
Crews left the fire to burn out in the middle of field. The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
