1st Vale of Pickering Scouts have made an appeal for more volunteers
THE 1st Vale of Pickering Scouts Group is looking for volunteers to join its team.
The group has different sections for beavers, cubs and scouts, and takes part in various activities, including camping, fire-lighting, wall climbing and exhibitions.
The team is based at the scout hut near the railway station in Pickering, and has a small woodland area.
The volunteers need to be enthusiastic, passionate about the outdoors and a role model to the children.
Beavers meet on a Tuesday, from 5.30pm to 6.45pm.
Cubs meet on a Thursday, from 6.30pm to 8pm.
Scouts meet on a Friday, from 7.15pm to 8.45pm.
