A RYEDALE pub has raised £504 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The Crown & Cushion in Welburn marked last month’s Yorkshire Day, by serving a sharing board throughout August which contained locally-sourced produce from Yorkshire suppliers.
A £1 for every board sold was donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The sharing board was on offer at six of the seven Provenance Inns & Hotels sites, with The Crown and Cushion raising the most funds.
Karen French, operations director for Provenance Inns & Hotels, said: “We have been absolutely delighted to showcase and highlight our amazing Yorkshire suppliers. We have raised £504 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in celebration of Yorkshire Day and all things Yorkshire.”
