THE Yorkshire Tractions Engine Rally was held in the parkland at Scampston Hall at the weekend.
Organised by event company Outdoor Shows Ltd, the rally was held at Scampston following the success of last year’s event.
A full programme of top steam fair attractions included tractor pulling, steam engines, classic cars, vintage tractors, classic motorcycles, fairground organs, miniature steam engines, stationary engines and vintage commercials.
The event also included a vintage stage show with dancers and singers, trade stands, autojumble, craft and fine food marquee, as well as an old time and modern funfair.
There were also performances in the main arena including the StuntWorld Stunt Show, children’s corner, which included inflatables, quad track, go karts and bungee trampolines, and a range of demonstrations, including chainsaw carving, where works of art were created from a single piece of wood.
