“I am really pleased with my results after all the hard work,” Lucynda said.

Rob Williams, head teacher, said: “Once again the vast majority of students have successfully achieved what they needed to progress on to their chosen next career step, most to university with some to apprenticeships, employment or into a gap year.

“The results overall represented a further improvement on last year, a pleasing outcome following on from the recent, highly-positive Ofsted report on the work of the sixth form.

“I would like to join the families in expressing great pride in the effort that the students have put in to achieve these outcomes today.

“The students have opened doors for themselves and it is exciting to think what this group of young people can go on to achieve in the future.”

He added: “I want to thank the staff team for their dedication and hard work in supporting the students.

“On behalf of the school our very best wishes will go with each and every one of them as they move forward with their careers.”
