FOR this month’s feature, Malton Camera Club is celebrating the glorious weather and scenery within the boundaries of Yorkshire with this selection of six fantastic shoots.

Members Tony Malt and Tony Horsfield have been out and about capturing on camera these photographs, which feature a waterfall and Crackpot Hall in Swaledale to lavender at Terrington; clematis at Helmsley Walled Garden, a painted lady butterfly at Breezy Knees Gardens and poppies at Cheesecake Farm Norton.

This year marks the centenary of Malton Camera Club and an exhibition of printed work is currently on display in Malton library.

If you like taking photographs, you can join members at one of their taster evenings or meetings when you can also get tips from their guest speakers.

Malton Camera Club meets every other Friday at Norton Methodist Church Rooms from September onwards.
