A COACH has been badly damaged after catching fire on the North York Moors.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the single decker passenger coach was well alight on the A169 at Fylingdales when crews from Pickering, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, along with colleagues from RAF Fylingdales, arrived at just after 6pm yesterday.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used five hose reels to extinguish the fire and make the vehicle safe.
