RYEDALE residents could save £140 off their fuel bills as part of the Warm Home Discount Scheme.
The scheme helps those in need with their winter energy costs by paying a credit onto the energy account of the qualifying account holder. To be eligible customers must be receiving the Savings or Guarantee & Savings element of the State Pension,
Cllr Keane Duncan, leader of Ryedale District Council, said: “We are keen to ensure that all residents do not miss out on claiming this fund which will help reduce their fuel bills when the winter months have arrived.”
If you are eligible, you will receive a letter in the post. However, if you haven’t received your letter and think that you may be eligible, then phone the Warm Home Discount Scheme team on 0345 6039439, Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
