TWO men were seriously injured in a crash on the A169 at the weekend.
Emergency services were called to a collision involving a Vauxhall Astra near Low Marishes at about 11.40pm on Saturday.
A police spokesman said: “Two men, aged 32 and 33, believed to be occupants in the vehicle were taken to hospital with serious injuries where they remain. The investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident which includes awaiting the results of blood tests.”
The fire service said that when its crews arrived at the scene, one of the men was found on a riverbank by firefighters, and the other was in the care of an ambulance crew.
