NETBALL players at Terrington Hall School are celebrating after success in their home tournaments.
The under 11s tournament was attended by eight schools fielding 12 teams. After almost three hours of play, Terrington Hall U11A and Gateways U11A emerged as finalists.
U11 coach Claire Knights said: “They found space, fought for every ball and finally claimed a 3-1 victory, but not before Gateways A had tested them to their limits.”
Meanwhile, the U9’s team recorded seven wins and one draw to win the tournament with Cundall Manor coming in second.
U9 coach Olivia Diggory said: “I was extremely proud of the girls’ performance.”
