Woman taken to hospital after crash
A WOMAN was trapped in her car following a car crash on the Moors yesterday.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue crew from the Kirkbymoorside station were called to the incident at 8.42am.
The crash, which involved two cars, happened in "the Blakey Ridge area", near Kirkbymoorside.
Fire services said: "One female was trapped and crews used equipment to release her from the vehicle.
"She was taken to hospital via road ambulance."
