HELMSLEY Arts Centre is delighted to welcome star of Radio 4’s The Archers, Sunny Ormonde on Sunday, February 10.

Sunny has played the outrageous and wayward Lilian Bellamy since 2000 and has well over 400 radio play credits to her name.

She will fill the audience in on all the behind the scenes stories about the world’s longest running soap opera - an evening of anecdotes, banter, and favourite pieces from Sunny’s long and distinguished acting career - humorous and touching in turn.

Plus, there will be a question and answer session with the audience about the making of the Archers, which is now in its 69th year .

Aside from radio, Sunny is a prolific performer in other media and has appeared in theatres across the country.
