POLICE have arrested two suspects after reports of quad bikes being stolen in rural Ryedale were met with a collaborative response.
The theft reports had come in the early hours of Wednesday, December 12.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Group said that its Malton team had assisted colleagues in the North Yorkshire firearms unit and Ryedale police in responding.
“Several” properties were reportedly targeted in the area and quad bikes were stolen.
Police officers said that two of the vehicles were recovered and that two suspects were also located and arrested.
