Car fire in North Yorkshire village was 'deliberate'
A CAR was "totally destroyed" in a suspected arson attack.
A fire crew from Filey was called to Hunmanby at around 8.55pm yesterday where a Volkswagen Golf was alight.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Vehicle was totally destroyed by fire.
"The cause is believed to be deliberate."
The crew used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to tackle the fire.
