Police are appealing for information following an increase in sheep thefts
POLICE have issued a warning after an increase in sheep theft,
Between the September 23 and September 30, 14 lambs were n stolen from a field between Gillamoor and Kirkbymoorside.
A police spokesperson said: "Firstly if anyone has seen any suspicious vehicles in that area please could you contact North Yorkshire Police on the 101 number and quote inc 12180183056. secondly there has been an increase in sheep theft over the past few of weeks so could I ask that if you do see any suspicious vehicles loading sheep to please try and get the registration number and call police immediately."
