A PICKUP truck came off the A64 and crashed into trees last night.
Fire crews were called to the crash at High Hutton at about 6.05pm.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the driver and a passenger in the vehicle were out when crews arrived and uninjured.
No action was taken by the crews and the incident was left with police.
Traffic Constable Mark Patterson, of North Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Group, wrote on Twitter: "Driver of this vehicle had owned it for 2 days and was perhaps unfamiliar with its handling capabilities.
"As a result he failed to go round a bend on the A64 near Malton. Occupants all uninjured."
