A POLICE helicopter and dogs were brought in to help search for two men attempting to break in to a Ministry of Defence bunker north of York.
North Yorkshire Police said the force received a report at about 10.30pm last night that the men had been seen on CCTV, apparently trying to break in to the bunker at Shipton-by-Beningbrough, between York and Easingwold, through the roof.
Officers went to the scene but could not find the suspects, and so a helicopter was called in, along with police dogs.
Two suspects were subsequently found and arrested on suspicion of burglary, and have since been helping police with their inquiries.
