TWO men were arrested and replica weapons seized following a theft in North Yorkshire.
Members of North Yorkshire Police’s Public Order team were called out to investigate a theft from a pub in Castle Road, Scarborough, on Thursday night, and traced two men in the town.
A police spokesman said the men were stopped outside The Albert pub in North Marine Road, and were found to be in possession of an air pistol, a BB gun and a knuckle duster, as well as the stolen property.
The men were arrested and further searches were carried out at a number of properties in the town, where police recovered more stolen property, drugs and weapons.
Both men were later released on police bail.
