A REVAMPED community centre is showing off its brand new look to its users after paint was donated to give it a special makeover.
Users of Gallows Close Community Centre, in Scarborough, were able to give the building a new look courtesy of the Dulux Let’s Colour project.
Tom Mutton, the centre’s programme manager, nominated the project online.
He said: “We’re really pleased with the centre’s new look and we’re hoping it will attract lots of local people to our groups and classes – and even give us the opportunity to expand our offering.
“Our volunteers work so hard to ensure there is a bright, happy atmosphere at the centre and this paintwork has been a huge help. We hope the design is appealing to all age groups and walks of life – as everyone is welcome here.”
