DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a 75-year-old woman was robbed outside her home in Scarborough.
The woman had been returning to her flat at 11.15am on Tuesday, April 22 on the Prince of Wales Terrace.
As she tried to get in through her backdoor in an alleyway between Ramshill Road and West Street, she was pulled to the ground and her handbag stolen.
Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for DC Toby Forsdyke or Scarborough CID.
