GUN owners around North Yorkshire have been invited to a licensing open day at the police headquarters.
North Yorkshire Police’s Firearms and Explosives Licensing Department will host the day at Newby Wiske Hall, Northallerton, on Friday, May 30.
The day will give residents of North Yorkshire and the City of York the chance to apply for the grant and renewal of firearms, shotgun and explosive certificates and the variation of firearms certificates.
Police staff will also be able to deal with general enquiries about licensing. The open day runs between 9.30am and 3.30pm at Newby Wiske Hall, DL7 9HA.
