A summer crackdown on people who drive under the influence of drink or drugs has already seen 57 arrests.
he campaign began on June 1 and North Yorkshire Police will continue patrolling the county’s roads to stop other offenders putting lives at risk.
Traffic Sergeant Pete Stringer warned others against making the same mistake.
To report someone you suspect of driving under the influence, phone North Yorkshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
